American Women of Surrey support Transform

The American Women of Surrey club is fundraising to support Transform’s work with homeless and vulnerable people.

Transform Housing & Support is one of four charities that will be supported by the American Women of Surrey during 2013/14. The club will support The Crescent, Transform’s supported housing project for vulnerable young people in Woking.

Representatives from the club recently visited The Crescent to find out more about the project and meet some of the clients and staff.

The American Women of Surrey was founded in 1975 and now has more than 400 members. The club chooses local charities to support each year and has raised more than half a million pounds for Surrey charities since it was founded.

The club will hold a charity Gift Fayre on Sunday 17 November from 10am to 4pm at ACS Cobham International School. For more details visit the American Women of Surrey website.
