Hampers bring festive cheer

7 December 2015

A donation of Christmas Hampers from ACS Cobham International School will bring festive cheer to Transform Housing & Support this Christmas.

Students in Grades 9 to 12 of the Cobham school were asked to donate towards the Hamper Project, which is now in its fourth year. Each class created their own hamper, filled with practical essentials, as well as fun gifts.

Transform is one of two charities to benefit, alongside Woking-based Your Sanctuary. The items collected will be distributed to Transform clients who are most in need this festive season.

Eleanor March, Communications and Fundraising Manager, said:

“We are very grateful to the students and staff of ACS Cobham. Christmas can be a lonely time for our clients and many of them do not have family and friends to celebrate with. It will make a huge difference for our clients to know there is somebody thinking of them at Christmas time."

Bo Wood, Assistant Principal of High School, ACS Cobham said:

"We are delighted to support Transform Housing & Support with the hamper donations this Christmas. It is great to know that the hampers will make a real difference to Transform’s clients at this time of year".
