New Year Honours for Transform Patrons

Two Patrons of Transform Housing & Support were recognised in the New Year Honours List 2012.

The Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Sarah Goad, was appointed a Dame Commander of the Royal Victorian Order in recognition of her 14 years as Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey.

Professor Snowden, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Surrey, was awarded a Knighthood for his contributions to engineering and higher education.

Dame Sarah became a Patron of Transform in October 1997 while Sir Christopher has been a Patron since 2005.

“We would like to congratulate Dame Sarah and Sir Christopher on their honours. We are delighted that their contributions have been recognised in this way and are very grateful to them both for supporting Transform.”
