Four runners who chose to raise money for Transform Housing & Support at the Brighton Marathon, have so far raised over £3,000.
Mark Furnish, Phil Hill, Neil Hughes and Debra Orton completed the 26.2 miler on Sunday 17 April, raising valuable funds for Transform.
Phil said of his achievement:
“It was a real joy to do and happy I could help raise money whilst doing it. I work closely with vulnerable people who suffer from addictions and/or mental health issues. I have seen the huge benefits supported housing can offer individuals and Transform really do offer this.”
Eleanor March, Communications and Fundraising Manager said:
“Congratulations to Team Transform for completing this year’s Brighton Marathon. This is a fantastic accomplishment! I would like to thank all our challengers for their amazing fundraising efforts, which will help us to continue our vital work with homeless and vulnerable people.”
