Transform Annual Review 2015 now available

The Transform Housing & Support Annual Review 2015 is now available, highlighting our key achievements in the past year

During 2014/15, Transform provided housing and support to 1,045 people across Surrey, Sutton and Wokingham. We are proud that in a sample of the people that we helped during the year:

  • 96% of people felt more independent as a result of our services
  • 91% felt their ability to manage their financial wellbeing has improved
  • 91% managed their mental and emotional wellbeing better
  • 89% felt more involved in their local community

The Annual Review also features real stories of some of the people we have helped, including Loliya, who went into foster care at 15 because of family issues and ended up getting involved with a gang. Transform gave him a safe place to live and helped him adjust to living on his own. Loliya says of his life now:

I passed my exams and now I’m training to become a fitness instructor, doing an apprenticeship in a gym. I go to the local gym every day, thanks to a grant from Transform. I’ve entered body building competitions and recently came 6th out of 250 people.

I would like to say a big thank you to Transform, as without their help I would not have been able to turn my life around. They have helped me in every way possible. I really feel Transform has been like a parent to me.
