Transform appoints new trustee

Transform Housing & Support has appointed Amanda Colman as a new trustee to join our Board.

Amanda was appointed as a trustee at the Board meeting held on 29 January.

Amanda’s background is in professional services, working as a programme manager and in new business development. This has given her experience looking for revenue building opportunities in a broad spectrum of environments. Some of her experience has included talent management and transformation programmes.

She also spent two years with Anglo American plc where she ran their global IT project office, implementing best practice processes and performance measurement tools.

Amanda currently works for Odgers Berndtson in a Bid Director role and is actively involved in the community as a Local Authority governor for a primary school.

Amanda said of her appointment as a trustee:

“The work Transform does in the community – literally transforming the lives of a complete cross-section of people, so that they can achieve happy, fulfilled and independent lives – is a great inspiration to me. I was delighted to find the opportunity to apply for this role and am very much looking forward to working with the extremely accomplished members of the Board, to contribute to the goals and governance of Transform, by applying my background in business development and programme management.”
