We are pleased to unveil the design for our 2016 Christmas card, featuring a painting by one of our clients.
Sharron from Elmbridge painted a beautiful picture of two doves holding holly leaves. The artwork will be made into our charity Christmas card later in the year.
To choose an image for the 2016 card, we held our annual Christmas card competition for Transform clients. We had 23 entries for the competition this year, from clients who face difficulties such as mental health issues, learning disabilities and homelessness. The judging panel met on 21 March and they had a tough job in choosing the winner!
We are now working with a designer to produce our 2016 Christmas cards which will help to raise money and awareness for Transform.
Chief Executive Paul Mitchell said:
“We are looking forward to seeing the Transform Christmas card later this year. The competition was a great opportunity for clients to express their artistic abilities – we saw a lot of talent among the people we support! Congratulations to Sharron who painted the beautiful winning image and thank you to all who contributed.”
This will be our fourth Christmas card featuring artwork by the people we support. Last year, our winning image was created by Transform client Edward and depicted the three wise men.
Christmas cards featuring Sharron’s painting will be available from September – watch this space for details on how to order yours.
