Transform signs affordable homes agreement

Transform Housing & Support is part of a new project to deliver 1,166 affordable homes.

The Respond Development Consortium, of which Transform is a member, has been awarded contracts worth £9.8m by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) to deliver 1,166 new affordable homes across London and the East and South East Region.

Under the agreement, Transform will build 19 new units of supported housing over the next three years. The new developments in Runnymede and Waverley will provide safe and secure homes for vulnerable people.

Paul Mitchell, Chief Executive of Transform, said:

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Respond Consortium and the Homes and Communities Agency as part of the new Affordable Homes Programme. This project will provide much-needed affordable housing for 19 vulnerable people in the Runnymede and Waverley areas. These clients will receive support from our professional and expert staff, who will help them build up their skills and confidence so they can eventually move on and live independently.”

The Respond Consortium consists of:

  • Paragon Community Housing Group (lead member)
  • Elmbridge Housing Trust
  • Richmond upon Thames Churches Housing Trust
  • Golding Homes
  • Mount Green Housing Association
  • Transform Housing & Support
