The Lady Toulson CBE DL


The Lady (Elizabeth) Toulson has lived in Surrey for over 40 years. A lawyer by training, her service in the voluntary sector includes the National Chairmanship of both the Women's Royal Voluntary Service and the Children's Society; governorship of Charterhouse School and the Queen Elizabeth Foundation; chairmanship of Guildford Cathedral Council, and a year as High Sheriff of Surrey (2009/10).

She currently serves as a governor at Pond Meadow Academy, Guildford, a special needs school and continues to work for the Citizens Advice, as she has done for the past 18 years. She also chairs Surrey Appropriate Adults for the Guildford Diocese and is a Deputy Lieutenant of the County.
